The store has plenty of books and crystals and the prices vary from fair to a bit over the top. However, my review is more about the reading that I received that I’m very unhappy with. I was hoping to see which ancestor was around me or something of the sort. Instead, I had to sit there and listen to how I need to meditate and read this book and research this. I didn’t walk away with clarity, only more homework. I felt ripped off. I’m better off learning how to read tarot on my own and trying to access my ancestors personally. Save your money.

My boyfriend, a regular shopper at Nasmate, went in today like he always does. He was looking around and admiring some stuff when the manager, who refused to identify himself, started hovering over him. My boyfriend politely told him he didn’t need help. Instead of backing off, the manager completely lost his temper and said, “This is how we do it in here and if you don’t like it you can leave.” My boyfriend chose to leave, and I was on the phone with him the entire time. He decided to stop the other Nasmate store, but the same manager literally ran over there (my boyfried saw him running), told the employees not to help him, and even threatened to call the police. This behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and disturbing. Considering my boyfriend is a Black man, I cannot ignore the possibility that this was racially motivated. Customers should feel safe and respected in a store — not targeted and humiliated. The incident happened today, 9-3-25, at around 1 pm or so. Kathrina Azemard

I’ve been coming here since 8th grade. I got my 2nd tarot deck from this place. I’ve noticed their crystals are literally so powerful and helped me passed the school year EVEN when there was a 80% of me failing. I also improved in my love life when I for the rose quartz crystals. This small business is one of a kind and is not money hungry! 10/10 would recommend for beginners.

I’ve been shopping here for 7 years and one of the things I don’t like about shopping here is how as a black woman, I get stares a lot as if I’m trying to steal when I’m not and not only that but I hate when the white women here try to educate me on spirituality and things that I already know?? As if that’s not in my dna to practice my own spirituality… spirituality is naturally in POC culture from our ancestors especially when youre black! I don’t need white women trying to educate me on my own culture aka practices.
