To say my experience at Mama Gaiam was a good one is an understatement! The owner of the shop was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He also gave me amazing breath work, Qigong and meditation advice. The quality of the crystals is unlike anywhere Ive been before and affordable. Theres no question I recommend this place 100%!
I felt welcome in mama gaiam from the moment I stepped into this beautiful space. Max greeted me with a smile and generously took the time to offer a tour and share his knowledge, including recommendations of figures whose work I should further study. Before I left, he encouraged me to explore the website, continue my inner work, and spoke with confidence about the personal changes I could expect to see unfold with continued practice. And I honestly left feeling more aligned in myself and inspired than I had in a long time. This space really is an oasis in the city. Its welcoming and full of insight. Whether a local or a tourist, I highly recommend stopping by, you might just find exactly what you didnt know you were looking for.

I'm so lucky I stumbled across this shop. I was headed to the store next door to buy a tacky souvenir for my kid, but couldn't help but poke my head in here. The owner helped me find a beautiful crystal in my modest price range that was perfect for my daughter, and did a video showing her how to use it to meditate. So much better than an "I <3 NY" keychain. The space behind the shop is beautiful, as well. If I was staying longer, I would love to attend some of their events.
A great place to shop for crystals and other tools/elements for healing. Max, the owner, is a fountain of wisdom.
